The most amazing aspect of wedding photography is creating and capturing beautiful memories that people can enjoy a lifetime. I am honored to be chosen by a couple to be their personal wedding photographer. I want to be a source of inspiration for brides and wedding planners — but it’s not only about me; its about the amazing wedding vendors that come together to create something magical and unique. Together with some amazing people, I wanted to create a bohemian wedding styled bridal session to inspire brides and reflect the amazing work that can be accomplished. I was overwhelmed with joy at working with Bob and Barb at the Lavender Farm in Drumbo.
This styled session was the initial source of inspiration for other bridal sessions to come. I was very fortunate to work Kay and her husband on this session to create an emotional atmosphere. The dress provided for this photo session was by Emma Paige, a custom dress designer located in Toronto. It was a clash of vintage style and modern concept — and when Kay put on the dress for the first time, everything seemed perfect. The details, the lace, the style — it was unbelievable.
The make-up and hair was done by Alice Ratiu, and she brought out Kay’s natural beauty using a minimalistic and organic approach. The gorgeous flowers and table decor was provided by Cayla at Just Blooms; and they added the perfect blend of whimsical, chic and modern.
For all brides-to-be, I encourage you to create something amazing — include only the ideas that add to your vision, and be passionate about every detail that is chosen to represent your special day.
