Brantview Apples and Cider Venue Overview
Brantview Apples & Cider (BA&C) is a family owned apple orchard that has been owned the Howell family for over 200 years. Today, the 8th generation helps harvest Ambrosia, Empire, Brookfield gala and Red Delicious apples and operate the production of Howell Road Cider Co. This historic property has been a testament that good things are born out of tradition and pride in quality.
This venue is unique because it allows you to express yourself with greater flexibility. If you are a bride who is hands on and wants to plan out her wedding (as opposed to being hands off and giving full control to someone else), you will find that you can add lots of personal touches and have a one-of-a-kind wedding experience. BA&C not only produces their own cider, but also has their own bakery with homemade pies and more.
Licensed to entertain 140 guests, you can be sure that privacy and exclusivity is the standard. You won't be competing with other brides and conflicting schedules, because BA&C host only one wedding at a time. This means you have a lot of flexibility on regarding your timeline to integrate first looks, family formals and sunset portraits as you see best and you won't be rushed for time.
Family owned and operated means that you have a level of personal touch that a corporate wedding venue machine just can't offer. Melissa and Jen are incredible people to work with and offer a wealth of knowledge to help make the most of your day at on their property. You can be sure that the apple orchard is an incredible backdrop to the photos and offers a cozy and intimate look.
The outdoor field area is perfect for hosting ceremonies and is surrounded on all sides by the apple orchard. If rain is a problem, the pavilion can double as an "indoor" ceremony space and then transform into a reception area. The wood and the hanging lights in the pavilion pair beautifully and gives you that rustic / bohemian natural look.
This venue does not offer an onsite location for preparation, so be sure to look for options.
If you love the outdoors and want to have an intimate wedding, with a rustic / bohemian style, then this is definitely a venue you need to consider. This venue caters to couples who want to be a little more involved in their wedding planning and add a personal touch; such a vendor selection, timeline flexibility, and décor.
I love photographing engagements and weddings at BA&C I highly recommend it to couples seeking something unique and exclusive to celebrate their wedding day.
