Langdon Hall Venue Overview
Langdon Hall is a gem in Ontario and renowned for it's high-class hospitality and experiences. History of Langdon Hall dates back to 1898 when Eugen Langdon Wilks purchased the land and started construction of Langdon as it was intended to be a summer home with a spacious thirty-two rooms, with construction ending in 1902. The Wilks family ownership closed with the sale in 1987 to William Bennett and Mary Beaton who have since expanded, renovated and updated the facility to create the current Langdon Hall Country House Hotel.

Venue Highlights
Langdon Hall is an iconic one-stop-shop for a great wedding experience from beginning to the end. Inside the main building, there is a restaurant and rooms to host cocktail hour, and the surrounding buildings are suits for preparation and guest accommodation. The style is historic yet with modern touches, and offers a mix luxury and classic feel with onsite spa, trails, fine dining and overnight accommodations.
The venue is currently accommodating 20-75 guests depending on which ceremony room you choose with capacity pending due to regulations. This is great for couples who plan to have an intimate affair or a smaller wedding event. It's also possible to have an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour which I highly recommend during the warmer months.
It may come to no surprise to local residents, but Langdon Hall is renowned for their fine dining and locally sourced food sources (such as the massive local garden and chicken coop on their property). Great food is standard when you spend your time at this beautiful venue, and so is the hospitality. Complete with an equally renowned spa, it provides a great relaxing experience to couples and attending guests.
The venue grounds have a lot of variety for photos, ranging from the gardens, open grounds, beautiful facilities, indoor rooms, and the surrounding trails. Get your pinky up for tea time, because you will be pampered here.
My Recommendation
If you love the idea of getting an all-inclusive package at an estate, this venue offers it all. From preparations, to ceremony and reception, there is a lot to see and explore around the property to make lasting memories.
Out of all the venues, Langdon Hall is my personal favorite to photograph / video and I highly recommend it to couples looking for a classic luxury experience.
