Rocky Crest Resort is a beautiful cottage experience with scenic views and three different wedding locations for you to choose from. In this article, you will see photos from the Armishaw Lake ceremony which is focused on private and intimate style weddings.

Your wedding day will begin in a cottage on the resort, with many different options for rooms and locations. All cottages are walking distance from Lake Joseph and the Muskoka style lakeside views. It's the perfect place for guests to enjoy multiple days on the resort to continue the celebrations, or just as an overnight stay for the wedding day.

The outdoor ceremony location has the capacity to hold many people, but I couldn't find exact numbers and would estimate about 100 people. You just can't beat the views with the lake backdrop and surrounding forests. If you have even been to Muskoka, you will understand why it's renowned for the views and atmosphere. The ceremony location has chairs on the sand, and a forest area to the right (looking towards the front) that is great for the family and bridal party photos.

Rocky Crest Resort offers a variety of locations for photos including sunset lakeside, golf course, forest and of course cottage style architecture with log buildings. If you are a cottage wedding lover, this will be right up your alley. The reception takes place in a white tent that can be fully enclosed to keep the bugs out or the sides can be rolled up to allow the air to flow thru. Cocktail hour is just outside the tent, and a private bonfire area will complete the Muskoka experience.

This resort is so much more then a wedding venue, and offers a complete cottage wedding experience alongside a Muskoka resort experience.
